"Diamonds are a girls best friend." Oh yes, Ladies, we all have had the love for a diamond. Matter of fact, there wasn't a man that could ever have bought me the diamonds I decided to get on my own.

To even go back further in my younger years when I was a young child, my parents took me to see the "HOPEDIAMOND." They told me after I got older that I had pitched a fit because I wanted that diamond. I'm guessing I was 2, 3, or 4 years old back then.

So as you can see, how the love of diamonds came to be with me. Later on, I ended up buying some colorful diamonds along with a two carat blue and white diamond ring. I suppose that was as close as I was ever going to have the "HOPEDIAMOND."

In the dictionary, a diamond is described as the hardest gemstone and one of the most valued. Well, looking at it from the stand point of the most valued, considering I had my diamonds. Although, were they truely bringing happiness to me? Were these diamonds bringing laughter and fun into my life? I don't think so. It doesn't matter how much money you have or what materials you have, you need to ask yourself....am I truely happy?

The greatest diamonds were what God had entrusted me to watch over for Him. He allowed me to have some time with these gems, these diamonds, to cherish, to polish in His ways and His teachings. These diamonds that were not only dear and valuable to God, but me, as well. They were my son and daughter.
